Ms. Mackie Kristina C. Rimando
My cooperating teacher is Ma'am Mackie. She's a English teacher in Montensori Grade School. She handles grade 3, Emerald. She's a kind teacher and she really love her students. She gave us advice about teaching and helped us in making our lesson plan, and helped us develop our skills in teaching.

Ma'am Mackie prepared her lesson plan before she teaches to the class. She knows what the needs of her students and she choose the best teaching method so her students can learn and understand the topic really well.
Ma'am Mackie prepared her lesson and materials on her own. She also uses a textbook as a guide and bring some real object to explain the topic to her students. Her topic was about pressure and she prepared real life situation to explain the implication of pressure in our daily activities. Power point presentation, pictures, and video presentations were also prepared by the teacher.

Problem Solving
First problem I've encountered is that the book they used was in Bahasa. I always translated what's in the book to English for me to understand the content. It was time consuming to translate what's inside of the book. So, I decide to have my references in the internet. Second is when I'm teaching some of the students can't cope up with the discussion because of the language I've used. So, when I'm making my presentations, I always translate some words to Bahasa for them to understand and especially when I asked some question.

Management
So far the Grade 3 Class students were so active in participating the class. They were always listened to me when I was discussing the topic in the class. Some of the students need a little push in order to participate in the class but most of them were really interested to learn and they were very intelligent. I'm not having a difficulty when it comes to classroom management because the students were really disciplined and they were always followed my instructions. They were also nice to me and to the other exchange student-teacher participants.
